Shane Farrelly

Shane Farrelly, Trainee Solicitor, Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) graduatewith a diverse professional and academic background, including a Bachelor ofCorporate Law degree from the National University of Ireland Galway, and studies inInternational Marketing.

Mr. Farrelly previously worked as a Legal Advisor for an international law firm inSouthwest China, where he facilitated the development of foreign-investedbusinesses in the Chongqing/Chengdu area, collaborating with international officesacross multiple jurisdictions.

From March 2021 to October 2023, he also served asLocal Chair of the Southwest Investment Working Group of the European Chamberof Commerce in China, advocating for improvements in China’s investmentenvironment, as well as addressing issues of market access and regulatorychallenges.

Mr. Farrelly has been a regular contributor to international legal journals, addressinglegal issues affecting both Chinese and European markets.
